Einsatzgruppen: Murder by Bullets
The collection of German-produced documentation on the infamous "Einsatzgruppen" ('SS-Operational Groups") execution squads during the Holocaust represents a somewhat inaccurate history of this genocidal organization which was responsible for mass murder, primarily by shooting, during the war (1939-1945) in Nazi-occupied territories. The most noted and heinous acts by the 'Einsatzgruppen' were such monstrous massacres in Babi Yar with 33,771 Jews murdered in two days, and the Rumbula massacre with approximately 25,000 Jews murdered in two days of constant death by bullets. From 1941 and 1945, the 'Einsatzgruppen', its related Reich agencies, and foreign volunteer personnel murdered 1.3 million of vthe 5.5 to 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust.
Motion picture records include actual secret films in the form of home movies of the horrendous acts of genocide perpetuated by the insidious 'Einsatzgruppen.'
